ALKINRA, DEMORNER & KNOWLELION TERRIERS

Welcome to the home of "Alkinra, Demorner and Knowlelion Terriers" at Gosford Farm Kennels, also home to "Woofs and Wags".

The Alkinra affix is best known for breeding Wire Fox Terriers. Under this affix, multiple Wire Fox Terriers have been bred & exhibited to the title of CHAMPION in the UK & Ireland. Over the years a few Smooth Fox Terriers & Kerry Blue Terriers have also been bred under the Alkinra affix.

Both the Demorner & Knowlelion affixes are probably best known today in the Welsh Terrier world. Under both of these affixes multiple Welsh Terriers have been bred & exhibited to the title of CHAMPION in the UK & Ireland. However, the Demorner affix has a much longer history, stretching back to the 1980s with the late Deborah Pearce's Standard Wirehaired Dachshunds. There is still some Demorner breeding found in the pedigrees behind some of the current Standard Wirehaired Dachshunds in the UK show ring today.

Under the Knowlelion affix we have also owned & bred CC, RCC & Green Star winning Airedale Terriers.

We are proud to have exported quality dogs to various countries around the world (including the United States, Canada, Australia & various European countries). We have also imported carefully selected new bloodlines into the UK.
